Janice Wallace has practiced law in the State of Georgia since 1998. Ms. Wallace’s practice has focused on personal injury defense for the majority of her career, working both in house and as outside counsel for various major insurance companies in Georgia. She also has experience in estate matters, plaintiff’s personal injury, real estate, adoptions, insurance and creditor and debtor matters. Ms. Wallace is also a mediator with One Mediation in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ms. Wallace is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Math Education. After teaching adult education at Griffin Technical College, Ms. Wallace attended law school and earned her law degree from Georgia State University. Ms. Wallace began her career as an attorney in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. She returned to her hometown of Griffin, Georgia in 2005 and joined the firm of Beck, Owen & Murray.
Ms. Wallace is actively involved in the Spalding County community a member of the Rotary Club of Griffin, having also served on its board of directors. She is past president of the Griffin Spalding Historical Society, past treasurer of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers Southside Chapter, a member of the board of directors of the Abundant Life Soup Kitchen, a member of the Griffin Utility Club and a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
